Help Move KT TV to HD

It is time for a new Tricaster for KTTV. The KTTV Tricaster is on its last legs and may not make it through the end of the school year.

The Tricaster is often referred to as a "studio in a box" because the one device does a number of tasks in a control room environment including playback of stories in the broadcast, live streaming, switching of cameras, blue/green screen compositing and audio mixing. The Tricaster 40 is a combination Standard Definition and High Definition system which is perfect for our needs because we shoot in HD, but air the broadcast in SD. the Tricaster 40 and the Control Surface retails for $6,990.00 and this is the educational pricing.

Any additional funds raised durning this campaign will go directly to fund KTTV needs as we transition to working in HD.

Thank you for supporting quality student broadcast journalism and bringing KTTV into the HD age. All donations will go to KTTV activity fund at Katy High School.
