Help Us Make Plans a Reality for Raglan Primary School’s KS2 Pupils
Play is important. Outdoor play isn't just fun—it’s vital to our children’s development. It helps them grow stronger, learn to work together, and supports their mental and emotional wellbeing.
Unfortunately, our KS2 playground is a largely empty and uninspiring space. This lack of equipment limits their ability to play imaginatively, stay active during breaks, and enjoy the same opportunities for learning through play as their KS1 peers.
The FOR wish to change that.
We have obtained costings to install the following into KS2:
Phase 1:
- An exciting and interesting new playframe;
- A 6m double-sided traverse climbing wall;
- A set of monkey bars;
Phase 2:
- A pair of rotating dual basketball and netball hoops;
Phase 3:
- Redesigning the Quiet Garden;
- New Hard Landscaping;
- Soft Landscaping - planting;
Phase 4:
- Re-laying of the thermoplastic lines on the playground (netball, football, rounders and the compass).
Since work was completed in KS1, with your support we have raised significant funds. We have 90% of funds required to procure the Phase 1 new play equipment. If we can raise the balancing 10%, we can instruct the equipment to be installed in September.
Every single donation—big or small—gets us closer to transforming this space into something truly special for the current and future KS2 children.
How You Can Help:
- Donate: Whatever you can give will make a huge difference;
- Share: Please spread the word by sharing this page with family, friends, and local businesses;
- Support: If you’re a business or organisation wishing to make a corporate donation, we’d love to hear from you!
Let’s give our KS2 children the playground they deserve – one that supports their wellbeing and sparks their imagination every single day.
Thank you so much for your support!
