Last year, thanks to the generosity of hundreds of people, we were able to fund the construction of a school for orphaned children in the Pachiot district of Pakistan – all in the name of our best friend Akbar Bari.
This work was carried out with help from KORT, a charity organisation dedicated to giving support to orphaned children from regions impacted by natural disasters. Through education, nutrition, physical well-being, and encouragement, they help provide children with the brightest future possible. We’re delighted to work with this charity as they guarantee that 100% of funds raised go towards specific projects, and provide detailed progress reports along the way.
This year, we want to do the same again.
Between now and the end of 2024 through various initiatives, we hope to reach our goal of €12,000 – the total amount needed to build a small school for disadvantaged children.
This work is all being carried out in the name of our best friend Akbar Bari, who we deeply love and sorely miss every single day.
