Help K.I.T.T. greet hospitalized children

Imagine hospitalized children meeting K.I.T.T., the talking, crime-fighting, supercar, from the famed television series, ‘Knight Rider’.

K.I.T.T. will welcome each patient, and their family members, in his iconic voice (with new lines recorded by the original voice of K.I.T.T., the great actor William Daniels).

I’ve financed over $30,000 myself in this venture, and if you can contribute a dollar or two, we can keep K.I.T.T. in good running condition for years to come, as I also want to use K.I.T.T. to raise money for other worthy fundraising events.

Who (or what) is ‘K.I.T.T.’ you ask?

For those of you unfamiliar with K.I.T.T., or those that want to see K.I.T.T. in action once more, please watch this brief, informative video.

And if you'd rather watch a video than read the rest of the campaign, just watch this one.

On March 30th, 2021, I purchased a 1990 Pontiac Firebird, from Coty LeBlanc, of Driven Auto in Hudson, NH. Not only did Coty sell the car at a very fair price, he took the time to bring it to my mechanics (shout out to everyone at Silver Arrow Service, one of the best service centers you’ll ever find) for the pre-sale inspection, and again for the repairs needed to be put this 31 year old vehicle back into tip-top shape. Coty even delivered the car to me in Wakefield, MA, and, on top of that, he donated a very generous sum to this endeavor.to act as the ‘donor’ car. Here it is being delivered on April 3rd, 2021.

I must take this opportunity to thank Albrecht Auto Group and Woburn Foreign Auto Body, for providing thousands of dollars worth of paint and body work, without which, K.I.T.T. would not have been within my financial boundaries.

And I would like to thank FinishMaster, for donating thousands of dollars in paint supplies.

I am forever grateful.

And thank you to the following companies for discounting their services for this endeavor.

- Automated Transmission, Methuen, MA -Expert mechanics that fixed a stalling problem that plagues third gen Firebirds and Camaros. Can't thank them enough!
- Driven Auto of Hudson, NH (where vehicle was purchased)
- KRW Enterprises (TurboCaps, Nose, Scanner, Blackouts, Deflectors)
- Automotive 12v Specialists of Wakefield, MA. Top notch installation of alarm, rear camera, cross traffic alert, and will be installing the scanner and sound boards.

And thank you to the employees of the following organizations that have been so helpful.

- Hawks MotorSports
- The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles
- Sacchetti Insurance
- Knight Industries of Kentucky

UPDATE #1 - April 9th.  Rear tail light blackouts have arrived. Alarm, rear camera, dashcam, and rear cross traffic alert system installed.
