Jau pāris gadu mans sapnis ir izdot savu solo albumu latviešu valodā - KRĀSAS 

Cītīgi krāju naudiņu albuma ieskaņošanai (darbam ierakstu studijā), izdošanai (visi reklāmas darbi, fotosesija, video, mārketings), taču negaidīto ikdienas apgrūtinājumu (pandēmijas) dēļ šie līdzekļi devās citā virzienā.

Nav viegli lūgt, bet ir laiks, kad tas nepieciešams. Es ticu, ka ar jūsu atbalstu, man izdosies albumu pabeigt šogad. 

Mūzika sarakstīta, taču vēlos uzlabot skanējumu, kad drīkstēšu satikt mūziķus ar kuriem kopā strādāju. 

No albuma KRĀSAS izdots pirmais singls "Tu uz mani paskaties ",kuru finansēju pateicoties Valsts Kultūrkapitāla fondam. Esmu guvusi daļēju finansējumu vēl vienas dziesmas ierakstam no LaIPA atbalsta stipendijām. Jūtos bezgala pateicīga par to, ka ir šādas programmas, kur pieteikties un saņemt līdzekļus. 

Nevaru sagaidīt, kad varēšu Jūs visus iepriecināt ar savu radīto mūziku. PALDIES TEV par atbalstu!

Katrina's big dream on her 30th birthday
For a few years now I've been dreaming of releasing a solo album called KRĀSAS (“colors”, in Latvian).

I had been consistently putting away and saving money to produce the album (to cover the recording studio costs) and publish it (advertising, photography, video, marketing expenses). However, the unexpected obstacles of this past year (ahem, the pandemic) meant that these savings had to be redirected to cover the loss of an entire season's of work.  

Asking for help doesn't come easy to me, but the time has come when it's really needed. I believe that with your help, I'll be able to finish my album this year.

The music is already written, but it would come to life with the help of other musicians (when I'm allowed to see and work with them again).

The first song from the KRĀSAS album, “Tu uz mani paskaties”, has already been released. I was able to fund it thanks to the Latvian State Culture Capital Foundation (SCCF). I also received partial funding for recording another song from the LaIPA stipend. I'm incredibly grateful that there are these kinds of programs to turn to for support. 

I can't wait until I can share my joy with you through my music. THANK YOU for your support!
