Kacey AFRICAn't Wait to WildlifeVet

Hi friends, family, friends of friends and family, and random strangers! Thank you so much for attending my page and considering giving me your support! For those who don't know me, my name is Kacey Solotoff and I'm a first year student attending Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, living out my lifelong dream of becoming a vet. Part of that dream includes working with exotic and wildlife animals as well as assisting in conservation medicine.  In the past I've worked toward this by working at the Central Park Zoo with penguins, sea lions and more. This year alone I have been able to work with flamingos, an amur leopard, and a cheetah (Oh my!), among other exotic animals!

This upcoming summer I have the wonderful opportunity to be able to travel to South Africa to do hands-on clinical veterinary work with Wildlife Vets SA (My experience can be found here: 
Course and Fees Information) We will be working with giraffes, elephants, hippos, snakes, crocodiles, buffalo, and more! I'm so excited to be going on this trip and gaining this valuable hands-on experience!

Unfortunately, vet school costs a lot of money and trips to Africa are expensive- the cost for my experience will include the course fees as well as airfare. It would mean so much to me if you could donate any amount toward my goal to help me attend this fantastic opportunity. It's not very easy to find clinical exotic animal medicine opportunities and this experience will add so much to my veterinary repertoire.
