Making Miracles Happen for Katelyn Dempsey Johnson

I'll start by saying this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write. My little sister, Katelyn has received devastating news yesterday. Healthy young beautiful girl and only 24 years old, this has caught our whole family off guard to say the least.  After experiencing severe abdominal pain along with unusual and unexplainable bleeding, Katelyn has had a month long journey of emergency room and doctor visits, blood transfusions etc. A CT scan 4 days ago revealed suspicion for neoplastic disease or a tumor and and a colonoscopy was recommended at that time. Katelyn received results after the colonoscopy yesterday where the Dr. said he found a very large mass in her colon along with multiple polyps which he believes to be colon cancer.  Biopsies were obtained yesterday which will ultimately play the main factor in the official diagnosing, thus determining the plan of care. There will be a long road ahead and I am asking the support from all of our family and friends on behalf of the Dempsey Family. We are asking for Prayer as we are needing all of the spiritual strength and support from our christian family. We are declaring a miracle be performed and that this mass comes back non cancerous. We know our GOD is capable of all healing and can and WILL perform miracles.  Katelyn is seeing colorectal surgeons today in order to schedule surgery to remove mass ASAP.  We are looking at possible colostomy, chemo, radiation and multiple surgeries ahead. Katelyn is such a beautiful strong person. The rest of the world sees her as tenacious, loving and bold. But as her older sister and close family, this hurts us deeply. Katelyn is such a generous and kind person and didn't want to accept financial help. I assured her our family and friends would me more than willing to help us through this process.
