Justin's Cancer - Part Three - The Omnipresent Onslaught

Donation protected
Greetings, Travelers!

I'm Justin Lawrence Hoyt, and I have an Update -

After learning of my cancer reaching stage four, I underwent many treatments. As a matter of fact, six infusions of chemotherapy. After that, it was time to remove the lesions in my liver. And while that operation was succcessful, it has now come to pass that the cancer is elsewhere within my body.

At this moment, we know not where the cancer lay. Its lair remains elusive. So, we must attack blindly, hoping that further treatments will cause their numbers to dwindle until we find it’s hiding place.

I’ll have three months at least of chemo to go through until we figure out what our next steps are. So, again, I will be unable to work during my treatments as the cycle is going to be more intensive than last time.

If you are able to, your donations will not only help me pay for medical bills, but also with my cost of living.

And if you are unable to donate, I would ask that you please share this page to help spread the word.

Every lil bit helps!

I love you all so much!
Thank you and I love you.
With all my heart!
-Justin

________________________________
I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After my last bout with the disease, we thought that it had been eradicated. Alas, twas not so. The cancerous cells had migrated at the microscopic level to my liver, hiding like a thief in the night, waiting for their moment to strike. Now that their numbers have grown, they lay siege to my body, attacking from within. These parasitical cells amassing inside me like a plague now ready to wreak havoc. Though we set here in our darkest of times, there is a light. A beacon. Treatment has begun. A form of chemotherapy that, unlike last time, is more aggressive in nature. For the cancer hath survived the last volley. 'Twill not this time!! This time - the cancer will yield! And upon this fiery plane, it shall be smote, and sent back to the hells from whence it came!

(For those of you who got bored of that) - I have stage four colon cancer. We thought that we got it all in time, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. It seems as though it entered into my lymphatic system and has spread to my liver where I now have two lesions growing. But! I have started a more aggressive form of chemotherapy that will hopefully eradicate all traces of the cancer.

Due to the nature of the chemotherapy, I will be unable to do much but lay in bed for the better part of my treatment which will most likely be upwards of 7 months. I am going to be on a two-week cycle, where I have a 48-hour infusion and then 12 days off. Rendering me incapable of working while I undergo treatment.

The current plan could also be extended as my cancer has progressed to stage four. At the moment, we can only see it in my liver, but there is a 66% chance that the disease has spread throughout other parts of my body and are just too small to see right now.

If you’re able to help, your donations will not only aid me with covering medical expenses, but also, help with cost of living while I am unable to work.

If you are unable to donate, if you could please share this page, I would very much appreciate it!

Either way, I am truly grateful to you all for taking the time to look upon this page.

I love you all, very much.
k..
bye for now..
