Justin’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi ya’ll . My name is Maggie and I have started this GoFundMe for my brother in law Justin Phillips. Justin has been in bad health the last few years. He was diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy roughly 6 years ago and has been on dialysis 3 days a week ever since. He was working two jobs to make ends meet and still making his dialysis appointments which kept him able to keep working, even though it was very tough on him, but he is now in end stage renal failure and 3 days of dialysis has become not enough . He has been in the hospital every 2-3 weeks to get additional treatments because where he lives doesn’t have open chairs for more appointments. Recently, his health declined massively and he was forced to have a laparotomy to repair his GI tract. The inability to receive more treatments has worsened the swelling in his legs and feet and become so persistent that he is in a world of pain.
He has been blessed enough for an attorney to take his case for appeal of his denial for disability, but with that process taking 6 months or more he is struggling to keep even his minimum needs met . He has a phone that needs to be paid to have for emergencies and his car payment and insurance so he can get himself to the treatment days that are available to him .
We are hoping for donations to help keep him afloat until his disability case is handled. At this point, he is struggling to even keep food in the house and has been denied every bit of state help out there to no avail. Anything you donate is so unbelievably appreciated and is not taken lightly . If you can help in any way, please do so. Justin has a 13 year old son that he wants to get as much time with as he can and he is doing everything he can to make it everyday, and two nephews who ask God every single night to make Uncle Justin better. Justin is a father, a brother, and an uncle who is loved by many with his back against the wall unable to do for himself any longer and with great pride set aside he is asking for anyone that can assist in any way to please consider doing what they can to help him in his time of great need .
Thank you so much for your donation and God Bless.
