My name is Mylittlecorgi, I'm a French (but was living in Sweden) content creator on Twitch, Tiktok, Instagram and Twitter, but this story is not about me but about my dog and me.

I've lived with animals and worked with them my entire life, I knew I needed my own dog, so one day while browsing, I found this adorable puppy for adoption...

I don't need to tell you that I fell in love with this small potato with huge little paws!

I brought him home, and he was everything I ever wanted! He was a playful dog who knew how to calm down when needed, cuddly but able to be by himself without destroying everything, adventurous but would never walk alone without seeing me in sight... I could talk for hours, explaining how much of a perfect dog Mozart was for me.

Mozart accompanies me everywhere I go! No matter the size of my flat or my financial situation, I've always made his needs a priority, he's my child, and it's my responsibility to give him the best life he could ever have.

Life has been rough on my side (I will spare the details for another day), but Mozart was always here to cheer me on and motivate me to go outside; I made friends through him!

When I started Twitch, I had no hesitations; my name will be dedicated to the love of my life, my dog Mozart!

Mozart was the mascot of my channel, always here to bark and make people's hearts melt with his cuteness and sassiness!

After being sexually assaulted by my boss and coworker multiple times, I had the strength to quit.

I decided to put a donation goal so we could move back to France or anywhere else safe.

During a night stream, someone from a Pokemon community (I will name him F) donated to us 10 000$!

Our story touched F, and he decided to help Mozart and me find a safe place to be.

F and I became closer by day; we were always on the same streams; F had several cats and a dog and had the same vision of the future.

Before Christmas 2021 we had a crazy idea; how about we meet? F offered me my own bedroom and food and promised never to struggle for vital needs.

Time passed, F and I managed to get Mozart in the USA with us, and here is when everything escalated.

Mozart was uncomfortable with F dog being too pushy, Mozart showed multiple times signs of wanting space, but F dog never listened.

I stood up for Mozart, explaining that F dog must respect boundaries for our pet to belong.

I abandoned my bedroom to live downstairs, sleeping on the cinema chairs with Mozart.

My visa was expiring soon, so I returned to France, leaving most of my belongings, computer and Mozart to F place until we could afford to ship them.

A good friend in France offered me his couch in his studio for free until I could afford a place big enough to bring Mozart.

I explained the situation to F; we agreed that F would send weekly a picture of Mozart, F promised that he will take good care of Mozart and that I had nothing to worry about.

This will be the last picture I got of Mozart on the 05/26/2022.

I asked F for his laptop password (OBS updates) that he let me borrow for streaming until I could get my computer back, but F never answered.

Messages, Calls on Discord, no answers.

I tried texting F, I kept getting error messages even though I was able to text with my other friends, at this point, I understood that something was wrong.

I spend the whole month trying to reach F with every social, begging for at least a picture of Mozart with no success.

I started talking about it to my best friend KiMCHiRAGA, a fellow streamer who offered to drive to F house to confront him.

During this whole time, my mom, who was in a coma, woke up and needed someone to be with her constantly until she could walk, wash and feed herself. No one in my family was available/willing to take care of her daily, so I moved back to my parent's house.

F didn't open the door, his best friend greeted KiMCHiRAGA, and the negotiations began.

F wanted the laptop he let me borrow and the Iphone he gifted me in exchange of Mozart so I comply with all of F demands.

I asked for a picture of Mozart and F send me a photo dated of the 22/03/31

I confronted F about the picture and here was F answer :

I've always sent you photos that I take right before I send them, so I don't know where you're getting your timestamp from. I'm not going to give in to your demands and quite frankly I don't care if you trust that I'm handling Momo well. I've told you that I'm happy to send him and your stuff to you, or you can have someone come pick them up, but not until I have my laptop and Iphone back. So I don't really see a point in continuing communication, until that happens. Once you send my stuff back and I have them in hand, the laptop and Iphone specifically, I'll be more than happy to send Momo and your stuff back to you, or to give them to whoever, but until then this is all I have to make sure you get my stuff back to me.

But if I don't have them by the end of July, I'm just going to assume you're not sending them back.

The shipping is fine. Like I said once my stuff is back here, I'm happy to give your stuff and Momo to whoever, or ship him and your stuff back directly back to you. Momo has integrated here wonderfully, and is doing great. He is happy as could be, goes on lots of walks and getting lots of treats and food. We go tomorrow to get his nail trimmed.

I've managed to get someone to drive me to the local post to send F package; I sent F three paper, the tracking number, the proof of purchase (card) and the official customs I had to fill. "Ordinateur portable" means a laptop in French.

The package is in the hand of the USPS facility in Chicago, USPS has no obligation to give us information about where the package is until 45 days.

08/22/2022

I asked for an MRC to be made to know where the package is.

08/22/2022 to 08/26/2022, I tried to reason F, asking if F could send/make KiMCHiRAGA pickup Mozart at his place, but F refused.

F offered to ship my belongings back if I provided him with my address, but I refused F proposition; I explained that Mozart was my priority in everything he got.

F asked "$6000 replacement cost for the laptop and cell phone, and $2000+ cost to ship him back to you"

F now asks for a ransom.

I explained that I could make my insurance work, but they could refund only the cost of the amount the package was, and if I did that, they would stop looking for it.

F never answered that email.

The next day, I contacted the police, and we opened a Police Case.

I explained everything to the police, who were willing to help me.

I searched everything about F, his family, and his best friend and found all the information I needed.

Faced with an ultimatum, F had no choice but to give Mozart and my computer back (since it was the only things I could prove were mine) at the Police station or F will face legal problems.

09/27/2022 10AM

KiMCHiRAGA arrived at the police station and got Mozart in a crate and my computer.

F gave Mozart without his health certificate and his passport even though he had them both and I need them to ship Mozart back.

F didn't give back the cable (EU) that was part of my computer either.

The result is shocking; Mozart is severely underweight and got hairs on his neck cut.

I managed to get an appointment to a vet for 1PM.

1PM

Mozart ate 4-5 handful of kibbles and was very alert during the vet appointment.

He weighed 39.2 Pounds/17.7 Kilos when I left

He now weights 26.4/12 Kilos

He lost 12.8 Pounds/5.7 Kilos, around 1/3 of his body weight.

The vet confirms that the neck hairs were cut, not by a professional and without reason.

Mozart's coat is dry and probably never got brushed; his coat is in terrible shape.

After the vet, I called the detective to ask if he knew my dog's state.

I explained to him that F didn't return the legal paper I needed to ship Mozart back nor the cable for my computer, even though F was legally obligated to give those things back.

The detective told me: "Your dog looked exactly like the picture you provided, and you know, Mr F wasn't already happy about giving your dog back; you should be happy we helped you; technically, we shouldn't have done anything."

I was speechless.

Mozart is the victim.

I am the victim.

We are the victims, not F.



How can you work in law enforcement and lack empathy?

How can F look at himself in the mirror after starving a dog for weeks/months?

How can his best friend be part of this cruelty and decide not to act against it?

How can I trust after being lied to over and over again?

Where is the justice?

I want justice for Mozart.

If no law enforcement wants to listen and help us, I will make our story heard.

Animal Cruelty has to end.
