Justice For Ofiu Mounga

On Monday Feb. 8th, 2021, Ofiu Mounga was shot and killed around 10:27pm while standing in front of his home in Stockton, CA. He was with his wife and his in-laws at the time of the shooting. Another member of the family was also injured but survived. At this time, investigation is still ongoing and we pray that the public will help us to find his murderer. Ofiu is survived by his wife & 4 small children. He loved his family so much and worked hard to provide for them. He was deeply passionate about his Christian faith & enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Los Angeles Rams, play on tv. He is originally from Southern California where his father Pita and 3 siblings. Ofiu sadly lost his mother 8 years ago to breast cancer.

SPD News: Homicide Investigation
On February 8, 2021, at 10:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Knickerbocker Court. When officers arrived, they located two people who had been shot. Medics pronounced a 30-year-old man deceased at the scene and an 18-year-old male was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Homicide detectives were called in for the investigation. At this time, there is no motive or suspect information.
