My name is Ruby Harris, I am the mother of Brandon Lewis. Brandon was shot and killed by police while he was battling Mental Illness. Rather than help my child, they shot him down. Brandon Lewis was a bright light in our lives, always bringing warmth and joy to those around him. He was someone who loved his family deeply and found peace in simple moments—sitting outside, taking walks, and enjoying the world around him. Brandon was quiet and kept to himself, but his presence filled every room with comfort and love. He was truly cherished by everyone who knew him. He didn’t deserve for his life to end the was it has. He was a person who mattered. A very loved son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Our family has been hurt deeply by this tragedy. 

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of the memorial and to give Brandon the tribute he deserves.
