Fighting Leukemia

The new year started out with a challenge like no other I have ever faced.  "You have Acute Myloblastic Leukemia (AML)" said the doctor.  The treatment started immediately with chemotherapy, and a 38 day hospital stay.  The next news came, "Your chromosome tests came back 'complex,' which means you have a high relaspse rate and you will need a stem cell transplant."  The great news is that AML is treatable and curable.  However, the treatment and recovery will take about a year, and the 2 hospitals are both in Denver about a half day drive away.  You will need to be in Denver for about 4 months."  As a single mom with a newly diagnosed Epilepsy Seizure son at home, and the sole income provider, I find myself in need of your help with thoughts and prayers, and financially.  Any funds received will go towards medical expenses, travel and lodging during treatment, household expenses and caregiver expenses.  I haven't been able to work since December 28th, and the expenses continue to pile up.  Thank you for reading my story and for your thoughts and prayers, and should you feel lead to make a donation, it will be greatly appreciated.  Please share my story with others.
