As an alumna on Envisions National Young Leaders State Conference, She has the esteemed honor of being selected to join the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit in Washington DC next January. As many of our family and friends know, Julia's hard work, discipline and leadership skills over the past four years have and continue to lead her through a very successful high school journey.
As middle school came to a close, Julia began to spread her wings. She became a member of NJHS, won the easy contest to participate in the Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington DC and ended her year as Temecula Preparatory School, Student of the Year runner-up.
Julia's achievements in her Eighth grade year set her in motion.
Although with some trepidation, Julia set forth to High School ready to make her mark. Freshman year, she was off and running. First semester she made the Girls Varsity Tennis Team, helping the team reach the CIF Quarter Finals for the first time in the school's history. Her academics were also on course. Selection as Representative for the Envision West Coast National Young Leadership Association came as a great surprise. A second Varsity letter as a freshman came second semester on the swim team.
For the next year, Julia steadily worked to grow as a student, athlete and leader. The opportunity to assist in coaching Special Olympics swimmers each day, after swim practice, soon became another passion. Acceptance to Link Crew Leadership Class and Captain of the swim team, where she could make a difference soon followed. While serving in these roles the invitation to attend the 2017 Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit in Washington DC came as not only a surprise, but also recognition of all of her hard work, self-discipline and perseverance.
Julia's dedication to making a difference is what has guided her on this path. As she prepares to enter her senior year it is our prayer that she not only continues high academic excellence, but also continues to spark the minds and hearts of those around her. It is with this in our hearts, that we generously accept and appreciate any contribution to help Julia participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Thank you for your consideration, love and support.
