A little about Juf Roos:

"Juf Roos" is a passionate artist who writes playful, rebellious, and inspiring songs that spark children's imaginations and encourage them to express themselves. Her work is inspired by beloved children's writer Annie M.G. Schmidt and other artists who inspire creativity and uniqueness.
Juf Roos chose to do her internship in Saint Martin, a beautiful island that has yet to fully recover from its colonial past. The children on the island face poverty and lack access to resources that other children take for granted. Juf Roos has seen firsthand the struggles they face, and she is dedicated to using her talents to make a difference.
She believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, explore, and create, and her mission is to help make that happen. She has studied creative therapy for over 2 years and knows the power of self-expression to promote healing and personal growth not just in adults but children too, no matter their origin. She wants to see creative subjects normalized in primary education, not just in The Netherlands, but also in Saint Martin.

I lived with her when she was part of Protected Living as I am and she was very enthusiastic about giving kids who otherwise don't have many chances, a shot at a better life through means of creative education, so that's art and music
