Juanito's Lungformance 2

Hello, my name is Juan Quintana. I am 26 years old and I am currently waiting for my second set of lungs for a transplant. I had my first transplant on March 22, 2016. After some really good years, I had a set back starting November 10, 2019. I was taken to the hospital in San Luis Obispo, and the next day transferred over to UCLA because they realized I wasn't getting any better. Since at UCLA my lungs continued to not work. I was intubated a couple weeks ago, until my doctor decided to give me a third chance and he placed me on an ECMO machine. My lungs no longer worked and the machine was doing the breathing for me. I got great news today, after being put on the transplant list on December 24, 2019 they finally found a new set of lungs today, January 3, 2020. I will have to stay close to UCLA for the next 4 months, and anything raised will help go towards housing, food, and transportation.
