Joshua's Medical Bills
Donation protected
My name is Jennifer Logsdon, I am the wife of Joshua who was diagnosed with Stage 2 Melanoma on October 27, 2016.
We saw back in May that he had a mole that looked different. We wanted to get it checked out but unfortunately, he lost his job in June and I was laid off in July. We had no insurance until October 1st and that is when I scheduled an appointment with the Dermatologist as soon as possible. We had the Doctor's appointment on October 19th and on October 27th the doctor called us with the results. As you can imagine, "It's cancer" isn’t something you want to hear. We have surgery scheduled for this week but due to our insurance, which has a high deductible we need to pay for all expenses in advance. The money will be used for immediate treatment, doctors’ visits, hospital stay and the surgery itself. The surgery will consist of taking out the remaining cancer in his shoulder and removing lymph nodes from his arm and neck. We are hoping and praying the surgery comes back with a favorable outcome and it has not spread into his lymph nodes but we will know more after they do the biopsy.
Joshua is a great Father to our 8 year old daughter, Jaelynn. He is a devoted Husband and a Friend to all who meet him. Our family has been by our side the entire way. We have an amazing group of friends and for the support of our Church Family, we cannot thank them enough.
Unfortunately, Joshua’s job does not offer sick pay or vacation time, so the donations will also help with bills that his checks usually pay.
We believe that this is in the hands of God and if it is in your heart to assist, all donations of ANY denomination would be greatly appreciated. As always, prayers are also welcomed.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Joshua, Jennifer, and Jaelynn
