Joshua Klotz Spinal Injury

Donation protected
UPDATE :
Hello All! As some of you may remember, in Mach of 2020, our valued employee & team member Joshua Klotz was in a tragic accident. The accident resulted in a spinal injury that cost the 24-year-old the use of his legs. Just wanted to provide an update on Joshua's spinal injury and progression. While Joshua's new life as a paraplegic is not without very difficult challenges, he is doing all he can to accept things and embrace each day with positivity and a desire to help others in similar situations. Joshua wants to be a part of technological advancements in the area of spinal conditions. His first step was to create SIRF, An acronym for the Spinal Injury Research Foundation. In the pursuit of the best technology and care, Josh relocated to Texas in August of 2021. Josh and his family believed this move would advance his opportunity in what is called Exoskeleton technology.
(see link: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31228407/ ) After nearly a year of attempting to enter the program, he has been unsuccessful due to insufficient bone density. Our latest endeavor is to bring him back home to an ADA environment at his mother's in Orange Ca. While at home with his mother, they will be attempting to raise funds to modify her home to meet his most basic of needs (ADA bathroom, doors and ramps that accommodate his wheelchair). They are also looking to afford a more suitable wheelchair as the current insurance provided one is less than adequate and rather antiquated. Joshua and his family will continue to look for programs like "REWALK" in order for him to have the best opportunity for quality of life improvement. Joshua is also looking to go into business providing services & needs for others with similar conditions.

Every $1, positive thought and prayer helps; no amount is too small. We have a long way to go to even cover backward expenses, but we will never stop trying!

Thank you all again for your support in whatever manner you can provide it.

Thank you from the entire Rovazzini Electric Team!

ORIGINAL STORY:

Rovazzini Electric Inc, is family owned and operated. Every crew member becomes not only a part of our corporate team but also the Rovazzini corporate family. On March 16, 2020, one of our valued crew members, 23-year-old Joshua Klotz, was involved in a snowmobile accident while on a family vacation in Montana. Joshua broke his back in multiple places, creating the need for 5 vertebrae to be fused in his lumbar and sustained a spinal injury classified medically as "complete". A complete spinal injury causes permanent paralysis, in Joshua's case this paralysis is from the waist down. Compounding this tragedy, this accident took place 1300 miles from his home, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. ...this meant that hospitals were/are patients only and no visiters whatsoever were allowed to visit Joshua . Joshua underwent major back surgery, spent 10 days in the ICU, and remains in the hospital in Kalispell Mt.  As the family prepares for his eventual arrival home, there are thousands of dollars in medical needs that his insurance will not cover. These costs include but are not limited to:Modified Wheel chair specific to his needsMedical BedTransfer BoardBedside /shower seat/commode. Auto Kit Multiple handicap modifications ie: Auto & Home (Making his home environment paraplegic friendly (ramps, lowered switches and shelving etc)Lastly, spinal injury research and clinical trials are the best potential for Joshua to walk again. The list is endless. It is the endeavor of Rovazzini Electric to do all we can to support Joshua and his family in helping to provide all he needs for the best quality of life under these tragic circumstances. We are reaching out to our extended corporate family of vendors, customers as well as their networks and others who may identify or sympathize with Joshua's injury. Rovazzini Electric appreciates everyone in our network and wants to emphasize that we know these are difficult financial times for most, however even the smallest contribution will aid in raising the funds needed to accomplish the objectives mentioned above.Through all Joshua has been through, he is doing his best to keep his spirits up through the support, encouragement, faith and prayers of his family and friends . Rovazzini Electric believes that the more support and encouragement that Joshua can receive; the more it will help with his emotional, mental and physical adaptation to this abrupt change in his young life. We want to thank everyone in advance for any and everything that is contributed, including financial aid, all forms of support, encouragement, and prayer. If there is anyone in this network that we are reaching out to that has similar experiences or incidents, the family is open and welcoming of all forms of tips & advice. All donations are 100% tax deductable.Warm Regards,The Rovazzini Electric Team.PRIVATE DONATIONS CAN BE ZELLIED TO 9493747775VENMO TOANGELIA-DIMATTIA OR MAILED TO 360 E FIRST STREET #424 Tustin Ca 92780
