Joshies 'Second Skin' Suit/Splints

Hello my name is Joshua Louie Botham - everyone calls me Joshie!
I was born on 8th April 2013 4 weeks early with bacterial meningitis and bronchial pneumonia. This made me very poorly and left my brain damaged which means I have Cerebral Palsy.
What this means is I am physically disabled and cannot sit or stand , walk or talk.
It doesnt stop me having the BIGGEST, cheekiest smile and mummy says a twinkle in my eye! Im very chilled out and love making new friends. My bestest friend is my big sister Ellie-Grace who makes me giggle all the time.
My physiotherapists have said, amongst lots of equipment I will need in the future, the main item I need now is a specialist lycra suit.

I will wear this all the time underneath my clothes like a ''second skin'' and this will help to send messages to the muscles and assist with strength, tone and posture.
These suits are unfortunately not funded by the NHS and cost around £2000 depending on the design I need....and Im growing fast all the time ( cause I like my food )!
The sooner I can be fitted and start wearing one of these suits the quicker I will start to get results.
Im a big boy and getting pretty heavy now for mummy and daddy to lift and carry every day!
I would really love to be able to sit on my own and eventually stand and walk so I can play with my family and all my little friends and join in with everything going on around me. The second skin suit will help with this.
My mummy and daddy are going to run the ''Wolf Run'' with some friends as a first step in helping fundraise. Mummy says shes '' no runner'' so she really needs everyones support!;-)
