Josh Close- England Missions Trip

Axiom Sports began four years ago by a small group of athletes with a passion for sports, a love for God, and a vision to see people around the world respond to the Gospel of Christ. We believe that sports is a universal language that unites nations and connects the world. We also believe that the Gospel of Christ is universal. It is for all people at all times. People in China, Canada, and England worship the same Lord. Axiom’s mission is to make disciples of all nations - and sports is the language we will use to make it happen. 

I have been given the incredible opportunity to join Axiom Sport through their summer internship program. I will be launching in May to head to the Tees Valley in the North East of England. While there, I will help run school projects, summer camps, and mission teams. This will give me the opportunity to build relationships with people as I serve the community. Along with playing and coaching sports, I will be involved with a local church, Cafe Churches (a Christian gathering held in a coffee shop), and be able to serve other existing organizations. I am excited about using my gifts
and talents to further the Kingdom. 

I am asking you to consider a couple things: First of all, I would like you to pray for me as I embark on this adventure. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of all I come into contact with. Pray that the Gospel will change the hearts and lives of those blinded by sin. Pray that I can encourage and serve existing ministries in the UK. Pray for safety as I travel and live overseas. Pray for the finances of the team as everyone raises support. Most of all, pray for England. God is moving in huge ways and I am humbled to be a part of it.

I would also like for you to prayerfully consider partnering with me through financial donations. The
cost of the trip is approximately $4,500. To be honest, It is a huge step of faith for me. I would not
be able to go without the generosity of people like you who believe in the mission and vision. I can
personally guarantee that the money received will go directly towards the mission of using sports
to make disciples around the world.
