This is Josh.
He is your average 23 year old man. He has a fiance, Chelsea, and beautiful 4 year old daughter, Baylee.
In the early hours of April 3, 2015 Josh was on his way home when something went wrong. When Chelsea realized he wasn't home, she went out looking for him. That is when she came across her worst nightmare.
Josh was in a horrible car accident and was ejected from the car and was found several yards away from where the car came to rest.
Out of respect for Josh's family and friends, pictures of his conditon will not be posted. Initial tests show he has a broken neck, severe brain trauma, and is hooked up to a ventilator to help him breathe. Due to the severe trauma his body has endured he as fallen into a coma. As of Monday morning, April 6, 2015 he is in a stage 3 coma as defined by the Glasgow coma scale.
While the future for Josh is quite uncertain at this time, we are not losing hope. Josh has not been alone since this has happened, with numerous friends and family members, some traveling hours, have come to sit by his side and lean on each other for support. Outpouring of prayers and positive vibes are constantly being sent to Josh and his family.
As Josh's friends and family, it is now time to take the next step. While we need to continue to pray for a full recovery for Josh, I feel it is our duty to step in and help Josh's family since he is not able to.
While no one is obligated in any way, shape, or form to help financially, if you find it in your heart, and it's within your means, please help. Any and all proceeds from this page are going to go help Chelsea and Baylee with their day to day financial needs, such as gas money, food, and any other needs they may have. Any other money will go towards helping pay the growing medical expenses. By helping this family, we can put one less worry aside so they are able to focus solely on Josh and getting him better.
