Joshua Gunderson, better known as Gundy to his family and friends, was in a near fatal motorcycle accident in the early morning hours of August 14th. He was a few blocks from his home when he lost control of his Harley.

He was taken to Faith Regional Hospital immediately, and then life flighted to Nebraska Medical Center where he was literally at death’s door for the first 10 days. Anyone that knows Gundy knows how tough he is and that he’s probably the only person that could survive what he went through. He has 7 broken ribs that were broke in 2 places, a broken shoulder, fractured cheek, brain bleed, and as he found out a few weeks later more broken ribs. He had surgery on the broken ribs and awaiting surgery on the shoulder.  

Josh is now in Ankeny, IA with his mom awaiting surgery for his shoulder and rebab. It will be a long slow recovery and he will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Anyone that knows Gundy, knows he would give the shirt off his back for a friend in need. Now it’s his turn to be helped. Anything will help him make ends meet while he is recovering.
