Support Josh Parker & his family's healing journey

My name is Nicole Parker and I am doing this go fund me to help with monthly bills and medical bills from my husbands most recent hospital admission and life changing surgery. On March 22nd, 2025 my husbands life changed forever! My husband had to have an emergency total colectomy (removal of colon also known as large intestines) and now has an ileostomy (prosthetic that he has bowel movements in a bag). It all started on February 28th 2025 when he went to the bathroom to have a bowel movement only to realize it was blood. He wasn't in any pain or having any symptoms prior to this. We went to ER and they sent him home saying it was probably internal hemorrhoids. On the morning of March 1st 2025 (not 24 hrs after they sent him home) he passed out from losing so much blood through out the night and had to be rushed to the ER and was admitted. His hemoglobin (Red Blood Cell count) dropped to a 6.1. His normal range is 13-15. He immediately had to have 2 units of blood before he was even taken to a room. After numerous tests, over 23 blood transfusions and a month long hospital stay the conclusion was that he was bleeding from his colon but they couldn't pin point the exact location of the bleeding. The only way to stop the bleeding and save his life was to remove his colon. Everything happened so fast! His hemoglobin levels dropped to a fatal 5.1 while he was in the hospital. I almost lost my husband twice. This wasn't the outcome that we wanted but he is still alive and home with me and our children. He will not be able to work for at least a year due to issues he is having from surgery and his hemoglobin still not back to normal levels. He will never be able to return to the field of work (warehousing) he was doing due to the physicality of the job responsibilities. I am the only one working, maintaining bills and his care. We have two highschool daughters in the home and a son that is away in college. So far his medical bills are $400,000, medical insurance is pending payment for some portions of this. I am asking for any help financially that will help with our responsible portion of the medical bills plus help with monthly bills. He still has a long road of recovery. My husband is GOD'S miracle!!!! Drs has never seen anything like his case and has never had a patient that had to receive as many blood transfusions as he did within a months time and their body not reject the blood.
