Chasing Ghosts Record-Novella

Over the years, many of you have connected with my work in different ways—whether through bands like Rosu Lup, my ministry with The Liberti Communion, or shared experiences with The Wellsongs. Today, I want to share an exciting project that brings together two passions in my life: storytelling and music.

This summer, I’ll travel to Ireland to work on a project called Chasing Ghosts, which combines a novella and a record. The recording side of the project will be produced and engineered by the legendary Brian Houston from Belfast (you can learn more about his work here). This collaboration is a dream come true and an opportunity to create something truly unique.

Why a novella and a record?
Stories and songs are two of the most powerful ways we connect with truth. A song can capture a moment, a feeling, or a prayer in three minutes, while a story can unfold the complexities of life and relationships over time. By weaving these two mediums together, I hope to create an experience that resonates deeply—a journey that you can hear, read, and feel.

Chasing Ghosts follows three characters—The Seeker, The Rebel, and The Caretaker—on a road trip to find purpose and meaning. Each of them wrestles with their own longings, fears, and relationships, and their journey mirrors the questions we all ask about identity, friendship, and hope. The record will serve as the soundtrack to their story, capturing the emotions and themes that words alone can’t express. Read an excerpt from Chasing Ghosts here.

The idea for this project was solidified in December during a life-changing trip to Alaska. Through deep conversations and the wisdom of my elders, I felt God calling me to step boldly into this creative work. It’s a commission to make something honest, beautiful, and redemptive.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m so excited to share Chasing Ghosts with you and can’t wait to see how God uses it to inspire and encourage others.
