Support Lexie's Family in Jordan's Cancer Battle

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jenna Dodson and I am fundraising for a high school friend of mine- Lexie Splawn.
Lexie would never want to ask for this, but I truly believe that as a body of Christ we need to pull together when one of our own is facing a trial.

In fact- Galatians 6:2-5 King James Version (KJV) says:
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."

Lexie's husband Jordan has been battling cancer for some time now. They are navigating his fight while raising their three children, Parker (14), Trinix (almost 12), Nevie (1) and they are also expecting their fourth baby due in December.

Lexie is not able to work right now and I can't imagine the toll that even just getting groceries, every day expenses; as well as the gas it takes to get back and forth to appointments as they try to figure out the next treatment options for Jordan.
I asked Lexie to share a bit about their journey and this is what she replied to tell you a bit more about it:
"This all started September 2022. Only 3 months of marriage. He had started getting really painful, random headaches. After two weeks, he finally went to the ER. They said he was dehydrated and gave him some headaches pills.
A week later, he passed out in a Walgreens, where he was purchasing more headache meds. I took him back to the ER and after a CT/ MRI it was determined he has a mass the size of a lemon in his brain, along with a cyst the size of a lime. He was transferred to Charlotte where surgery was performed on sept 21st.
They were Unable to get it all because of the location and fear of messing with his speech and motor senses. After the tumor board met, they elected to place a grid mapping device (which allowed them to see exactly where those speech and motor areas were). So Feb of 2023 he had one surgery to place that grid mapping, and another a day later to actually remove the tumor. The surgeon was hopeful he had resected it all. Chemo and radiation followed this surgery. He’s been getting scans every 2 months as these tumors can turn aggressive fast and get a mind of their own.
April 18th 2024 a surgery was done to drain a cyst that had started causing pressure headaches. A biopsy was taken of the surrounding tissue while in there and came back showing cancer cells, which we all hoped were just residual cells from the tumor before. His scan one month post op showed enhancement around the rim of the resection cavity. And having the pathology, the doctors determined the cyst had probably been hiding this tumor trying to grow.
Jordan will be having his 5th craniotomy on May 28th- and radiation and chemo will most likely follow. We are praying this tumor hasn’t progressed into a higher grade, as he was already a grade 3. "

I ask that you Please pray for this family first and foremost; and if you feel inclined to give please do so. I know they will greatly appreciate anything that can help them during this time!
