On the evening of Saturday, November 6th our dear friend and worship team member Jonathan Youseph passed away at the age of 37.  I
know that many of you had partnered both prayerfully and financially to invest in his health and recovery and I'm so thankful for how our
friends and church family rose up to fight for him and show the love of Jesus to him.  

Yesterday was not easy.  Finding out the news before going to church to lead worship without him was surreal. We are so grateful to the
Lord and all of those who found out as I did that morning for their prayers and support for one another.  We all agreed that Jonathan would have wanted us to give the Lord all the glory yesterday and to not shrink back from glorifying Jesus and so that's what we did.  

Jonathan will be dearly missed and there is still much work to do in connecting with his family, preparing for his funeral, etc.  Please be in
prayer for his family, friends, and wisdom in how to steward this time well.

Please know that after the first treatment form the funds that were raised, Jonathan said he felt so wonderful that he drove to the
mountains and the beach, weeping over the beauty of God and finally having a moment of clarity of health to do so.  This moment was
afforded due to the compassion of our King and your generosity to help fund the medication.

I don't know why his life ended so soon and I suppose I'll never know why until I see Jesus face to face, but I am comforted knowing that he did get to enjoy a short season of greater mental clarity and strength enough to venture from his home and worship God in a way that he
hadn't before.  He loved his family, church and all who he connected with. 

Even in the worst moments his health presented, it was nearly impossible to keep him from his drumset so that he could worship God and
honor Him with the gifts God had given him.  He will forever be an example to me as a life well lived in pursuit of Christ when he could have easily been tempted to leave his faith and blame God for tissues he carried.  He was faithful to the end. 

As we get more details, we will gladly share them with you all as is appropriate.  Again, please be in prayer for the family and friends. 

We love you Jonathan and it gives us great hope knowing you are in the presence of the One you committed your life to here on earth.

He is a faithful servant of God and is the Drummer for The Bridge Espanol and English.  He is an amazing drummer and has a heart to worship.

At the young age of 36 after he had Covid he was diagnosed with COPD, Emphysema, and Lymphnode Chronic Leukemia.

He is warrior for God and believes that he can overcome this terminal disease with prayer and miraculous healing. the Drs claim he will not live beyond 40 but Jonathan believes in a great God who is the almighty healer. Please join us on this journey as he believe is the power of
healing.

These past few months have been tough as he has to rest and recover daily.  Miraculously, he manages to rest enough during the week
after rehab and Dr appts so that he can play the drums at church the weekends.   This is a phenomenon that his Doctors  don’t understand how he can do this each weekend. Jonathan knows that it is with Gods might he can do this and he will live to tell of His wondrous
miracles!
