Bring Jonah Home - Our Adoption Story

Our Story:
After losing our first child, we decided to adopt from China. Just over 2 years later, we brought our daughter Jesse home. During those 2 years of waiting, we had a son, Josiah. We always wanted a big family, so as soon as we were allowed, in 2008, we started our paperwork for another child from China. Since adopting Jesse, the wait has grown to over 6 years when adopting a healthy child from China.
During this wait, we have had 2 more children, Jamie Rae and Jacob. With 4 kids, we thought we were good and our family complete, until our agency contacted us with the proposition of adopting a special needs child. He is 2 years old and was born without fingers on his left hand. Well, one look at him and we knew he was to be our son. We have 2 final hurdles to get over in this process of bringing him home. The paperwork/legal work, which can be overwhelming and takes 4-6 months, and coming up with the funds for the process. We know God provides and look forward to see how He will bring us to our goal.
