Join Laura's team of Angels! Stroke survivor

Our dearest Laura had a stroke on Thursday, September 5th at the young age of 58.  Her husband had already gone to work and she was going about her morning rituals. She tried to open a can of tuna to give to her beloved fur babies as she does every morning and something was wrong.  She tried to figure out how to open the can for 40 minutes.  Her sight and hearing was going.  Scared and in a panic Laura called her husband and tried to explain it to him but Laura couldn't understand a thing her husband Ron was saying to her.  He knew something was wrong. Ron called their good friend and neighbor Rachael to go right over there.  Thank God for the quick reaction of her husband Ron, Rachael, the paramedics and the hospital.  Laura had a stroke.  Laura is on her road to recovery but is left with having to relearn the vocabulary that has been taken away from her. She can hear and talk but is very frustrated as her brain can no longer process what people are saying to her.  The doctors are confident that with alot of therapy this will go back to normal eventually.  Laura cannot work and cannot drive. Ron is working as much as he can but must also be there for Laura.  Laura will do anything for anyone. Planning, organizing and running fundraisers for kids with cancer is a passion of Laura's. She puts everyone else before herself and we want to raise her up and let her know that she is first this time.  There are alot of medical bills that will have to somehow be taken care of and we do not want Laura or Ron to worry about money but concentrate on Laura's healing and recovery.  The angels above are by Laura's side lifting her up to soak up God's love that He has for her during this difficult time in her life and we are Laura's angels here on earth to be by her side through it all.  We love her dearly and pray that what has been taken from her will be given back by the grace of God.
