Celebrating the life of Citra R. Joseph
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved linesister, #24 Citra R. Joseph. Citra’s battle against Lymphoma ended on Sunday, July 13, 2025. We want to thank everyone for praying with us and joining in on the fight. Although she is no longer with us fighting, she is no longer in pain, and for that we are eternally grateful. Citra is survived by her husband, Rochenel, daughter Sage, 7 and son Shiloh, 5. Please help us to celebrate her life and support her loving family by contributing to her GoFundMe. Thank you!

Support Citra in Her Fight Against T-Cell Lymphoma
Life often changes in an instant, and for our beloved sister, Citra Joseph, that moment came with a diagnosis of Stage IV HTLV-Associated Acute T-Cell Lymphoma—a rare, aggressive form of cancer that requires urgent and ongoing treatment.
To know Citra, is to know determination. She is anything but ordinary. Not only is she a wife and Mother of 2, she is a brilliant attorney, proud Floridian, fierce advocate to many, and a loyal member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She’s also hilariously eccentric, deeply persistent, and a constant source of joy and light to anyone who has the pleasure of interacting with her.
She’s the kind of woman who lifts people up, shows up for her community, and speaks up when it matters most. A true leader and inspiration.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
Citra is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, in hopes of getting a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Treatment is intense, exhausting, and emotionally draining—and she’s had to step away from work to focus fully on healing.
As many of us know, medical crises can quickly become financial ones. Cancer doesn’t just affect the body—it disrupts every aspect of life, especially for families facing mounting expenses and reduced income.
This GoFundMe will help Citra:
• Cover out-of-pocket medical expenses
• Travel to and from treatment
• Support her family with everyday needs while she’s unable to work
We’re calling on her village—sorority sisters, classmates, colleagues, friends, and kind strangers alike—to stand beside her during this fight. Every donation and every share will make a difference.
Citra has always been a fighter. She’s fighting now—with strength, hope, and that signature Citra sparkle. Let’s remind her she’s not in this alone. Thank you for your donation.
