Hi everyone,

Our friend, classmate, and student, Maria "Mena" Carrillo Torres, has now been faced with a difficult battle and her family needs support. Last week, after undergoing a series of tests and procedures, Mena was diagnosed with cancer.

The diagnosis has been a huge hit that has rocked everyone's world around Mena. While this is new, the difficult journey of fighting cancer has begun.

Along with this journey comes a huge financial burden. Mena's parents and family are doing everything possible to keep things running as smoothly as they can, but the financial burden of this journey is already taking place. There may be more specialized care at other hospitals, lost income due to mom and dad having to take time off for Mena's care, medication, specialized equipment, and so much more.

We are looking for anyone who wants to join TEAM MENA! Along with that, we want to ease this financial burden as much as we can. Any amount will make a tangible difference for Mena and her family. Anything raised will go directly to Mena's parents so they can focus on Mena during this difficult time.
