My name is Bentley and my daddy, John, is sick with vascular disease. He’s been gone from our home since August 3rd. Mommy goes to visit him daily and comes back to tell me all about daddy. Daddy has undergone four different surgeries and has been in and out of ICU at the hospital. His last surgery resulted in his leg being amputated above the knee. Mommy told me last night that daddy is doing good and is now in a rehabilitation program to get him back home with me. I really miss him and can’t wait to see him. Mommy keeps telling me life will be a little different with daddy once he gets home. My daddy is a Sous Chef and I miss his delicious meals. I know he was on his feet all day at work and can’t imagine what this must feel like to him. Mommy also says daddy has occurred many expenses and my treats might be limited.
