Ryan and Makayla Johnson Fire Fund
Donation protected
As you’ve likely seen on the national news, much of Lake County is gone, hundreds of homes. This picture was taken of Anderson Springs, where my nephew, Ryan Johnson, lives with his family, and lost everything. Much of Lake County has burned and hundreds of homes have been lost. These photos only begin to show what Ryan and all of Anderson Springs, Cobb, Middletown and Hidden Valley Lake residents are going through right now. While so many families are faced with the hardship of recovery , Ryan and Makayla have the added pressure of trying to recover while expecting their first baby (a boy!) AT ANY MOMENT!
Your selfless and thoughtful donation will help Ryan and Makayla to secure a new place of residence and begin preparing for the delivery of their baby. Can you imagine the stress of losing it all, and bringing a baby into the world simultaneously?! Let’s help enable them to find joy in these moments by alleviating some of the pressure and financial strain they are facing.
Thank you all for rallying behind Ryan, Makayla and soon-to-be baby Kayden. They are overwhelmed and grateful for your generosity as they work on recovery and welcome their first born!
It takes a village. We are the village.
Thank you,
The Kerrs, Tangermanns, Janet Reed, Leanna Costello
and many more friends and family
What will the funds be used for?
- baby furniture, supplies, clothes
- household furnishings and supplies for the living, kitchen and bathroom areas
- funding first/last/security for a new residence
Unfortunately baby Kayden’s room is lost! It was so precious and ready for his arrival...

The fire crept up on the community wildly, and quickly...
