It says to tell a story so here goes....
John Barrows, loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was diagnosed Stage IV cancer 4 days before Christmas. At this time the doctors are not 100% sure where it started, however, it has been found in his colon, liver, and lungs. He is currently in the University of Michigan Medical Center starting treatment which will include surgery and chemotherapy. As John owns his own business installing flooring, returning to work will be nearly impossible until his treatment is complete.
Although hesitant to allow this GoFundMe page to be started, John knows that his healthcare costs will be astronomical even with insurance. Any funds raised will be used for medical bills and if needed, basics such as food and utilities until John is physically able to work again.

John, Breeana, and Brett will be eternally grateful for any contributions made. If you are unable to give a monetary gift, the most powerful gift of all would be continued prayers for John's comfort and healing.
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
James 5:15-16
I will keep this updated as John's treatment regime begins. God Bless and give your loved ones an extra big squeeze this Christmas.
