We want to start off by saying Thank You to everyone who has kept John and his family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and also for visiting this page and to those who are able to contribute. 

A little back story on John for those who have not had the chance to meet him. John is the husband of 45 years, father to a son and daughter, grandfather to 3 beautiful kids and a friend to anyone he meets. John was always the true life of the party. He would get everyone singing karaokee with him and would dance the night away. Over the past year John's health has significantly declined due to kidney failure, diabetes and infections. His recent surgery which consisted of amputating his leg from the knee down has left him and his family looking for answers. Such as how they will get him around, getting him up and down stairs and the medical expenses that will continue to come. These questions can be a little easier to answer with the help of family, friends and a community coming together. 

The long road to recovery has already begun but the overwhelming expenses for a lifechanging experience like this will never end. John will need an ADA compliant ramp for access to the house, a hospital bed, a chair lift to get him to the shower, a motorized wheel chair just to get him around, rehab and medications. 

For those who know John, you know that he would give you the shirt off of his back and shoes off of his feet if he knew it would help. Any contriubation, big or small, will help get John home and alleviate a lot of the emtional stress that comes with trying to find a way to make all of this possible.
