JOELA ABIONA RIVERA
Is a 21- year old Afro-Caribbean Social Activist and Community Leader. Born and raised in the Bronx, she has dedicated her life to the Liberation of Black Trans and Black Queer people through the practice of Abolition. She has sacrificed and continues to sacrifice for the sake of others, so that we may all see a future better than anything we have ever known. She has given so much to so many, so now it is our turn to give her something in return.
This fundraiser was created with the simple yet profound purpose of providing Joela with the means to undergo the physical portion of her self actualization as a Black Transgender Woman. The money donated to this fundraiser will be used strictly for procedures to bring alignment between Joela's body and her true self, including breast augmentation, facial feminization surgery (FFS), hair removal and more, as well as to cover expenses throughout the recovery process.
Please know that by contributing, you are fortify Joela as she continues on her journey and freedom fight. Her gratitude goes out to all that donate. THANK YOU.

I am a Black Transgender Queen
I am birthed from the waters and trained and disciplined from the rainforests.
I am the mother of the first man, the originators of chemistry, mathematics, science, history, the mystery systems and Queen Warriors of many wars.
I will not be disrespected, dehumanized or disenfranchised.
I am Mother of the World and human civilization that will forever demand my place on the thrown of Black Royalty.
I am the Black Transgender Queen.
