Help Bring Joel Callander Home to MN

Hello and thank you for taking the time to stop and read this! Our names are Nicole Bilges and Tara Hammick and we are old childhood friends of Joel Callander. With permission from Joel's mother Holly we are starting this fundraiser to help her in this unexpected time of need. On Sunday July 8, 2018 Holly received a phone call that every parent dreads. Joel had been staying in California and was discovered deceased Sunday morning. Joel's home state is in Minnesota and that is where he belongs.   With this fundraiser the money raised will be used to get Joel back to MN as well as help with his memorial, burial and all other costs involved.   For those who had the chance to know or even simply meet Joel knew that he had a heart of gold and would help others in need even if he didn't know them or have much to offer, that was just the kind of person he was. He was a very loving, caring, kind soul and full of live. He as well as many others have had their ups and downs in life, however that did not make him any less of the Joel many of us got to know and will remember him by.   Please help spread the word of this fundraiser to help raise enough funds to get Joel back to MN where he belongs and so he can have a proper burial and take some stress off of his mother as she is grieving the loss of her son.   Any amount is appreciated and every share means a lot!
