Joel's Car Caught Fire and Melted

So to everyone who doesn't know my son Joel, he is a wonderful, caring, generous, sweet guy and an amazing new father of a 3 month old son...my grandson! 2 days ago, Joel's car that he has only had for a few months caught fire and burned to the ground. No one was injured, thank goodness, but it leaves Joel without a way to get to work,  buy groceries and basic necessities for his family and a way to get his son to doctors appointments. He is a hard working man, up at 5 am to be at work at 6, works all day then takes care of and play with his son at night.
He only had liability insurance on the car, to cut costs and save money, so the coverage he has does not cover the car being totaled and GEICO won't budge. He just put $2,000 into repairs and new tires a week ago. 
He doesnt know that i am doing this...well, until it posts on Facebook, but I'm hoping that if everyone could pitch in just a few dollars, we could raise enough to get him a clunker, but a decent one. Please share, and help me raise me raise this money for him. Thanks all!
