Joe was my older brother. At 57 he was fit, filled with energy, joy, and a love of life. With Mikyoung, his wife of 30 years, Joe was looking forward to their oldest daughter Alex’s September wedding; to enjoying the success of their daughter Roberta getting her first job after graduation; and to supporting their twins, Peter and Jonathan, as they began their second year in college. On January 9, 2019, suddenly with no warning, this proud father and devoted husband died of a massive heart attack. Joe brought joy to his family’s life. Their emotional loss cannot be put into words.
Providing for his family’s financial security was extremely important to Joe. He promised all four of his children college educations. But now, his twin sons, sophomore honor students at Arizona State, are wondering, for the first time, about tuition costs.
As Joe’s sister, I want to continue his mission of providing financial security for his family, to fulfill his promise to his children. My goal is to raise funds to pay for the major expense of two and a half years for each of his two sons and to help with the many financial obligations that Mikyoung and her family will face.
It is with Joe’s family’s blessing that I have initiated this fund. Your financial support and your prayers are truly appreciated.
