Hello family and friends

My name is Lisa Yorba, sister of Joe Saragosa. I'd like to share his story.

In  August 2014, my brother became very ill due to a mosquito who carried the West Nile Virus. He was sent to the hospital due to confusion and disorientation. The virus attacked his brain and his nervous system. After a couple days of being hospitalized, his heart stopped but he was able to be revived. Joe was one of five in Orange County to be so severely effected. After five months of being hospitalized, he was released to a rehab to recover. At this point he had to learn how to walk, talk, and take care of himself again. Several months later, Joe was released from rehab and sent home. Within a month he returned to the hospital to have his toe and part of his sole amputated because of his diabetes. Joe was later stable and sent home.

In January 2016, Joe finds himself again fighting for his life. On January 24, Joe suffered two heart attacks. Doctors performed open heart surgery on February 8 due to four clogged arteries. Our family was told the surgery was a success but within twelve hours there were complications and he was again, taken into surgery. Joe has not woken up since this surgery and is now in a coma.

My  sister-in-law Irma,  Joe's loving wife is finding it near impossible to be by her husbands  side.  Irma has to continue to work so that she can pay the bills, that are  beginning to pile up. , She has no extended time off from her employer Irma has maxed out her time off due to Joe's repeated hospital stays.  it is painful to see this God fearing couple go through such tribulation . .....From the bottom of my heart I ask you all to find it in your hearts by helping them in continuously praying everyday, I am also asking for a love offering to help support Joe and Irma Saragosa.
