Joe's Recovery
Donation protected
Joe, a graduate from Auburn University, moved to Nashville last summer to become an EIT in Nashville's Roadway and Bridge group. Tragically, he was recently involved in a serious accident while out jogging near his home. The accident left him hospitalized with two broken arms, broken/missing teeth, one side of his jaw dislocated and the other side shattered. Earlier this week his jaw was wired shut and Joe began his 6-8 week period of recovery. Needless to say, he will be out of the office for quite a while and he has recently been placed on short-term disability which will only cover about 60% of his salary.
Joe and his wife Taylor, a school teacher in Williamson County, were two days away from celebrating their 2nd wedding anniversary when the accident occurred. Immediately following their wedding, their honeymoon was postponed and Joe was deployed to Kuwait two weeks later, to serve in our US Military for over a year. Now weeks away from finally going on their honeymoon, it has once again been postponed as Joe recovers from his injuries at home in Franklin, TN.
Several coworkers have asked if there is anything that can be done to help with the cost of groceries, his medical expenses, etc. so we have created this account to give the opportunity to provide some financial assistance, show our support, and contribute to his family's expenses.
Please keep Joe and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your help.
