Jimmy's Road to Recovery
Donation protected

On Thursday, February 25, my brother in-law James “Jimmy” Prickett, an Operating Engineer for Local 12, was injured on a job site when a 6,000 pound steel plate struck the lower half of his body. Luckily and truly thankfully, he’s still with us today; but not without severe injury. The accident left his pelvic bone broken in 6 places, along with a broken hip and tail bone.
Jimmy is one of the most deeply caring and most loyal people I know; and he does a good job of letting you know it, especially when you need it most. He’s like a big brother to those who don’t have one, and if you know him, you’re lucky to have him on your side and in your corner when times get rough; he’d jump in the ring on your behalf any day and without hesitation.
He’s a strong man and a fighter, but he has a long road to recovery. As much as he’s been there for anyone and everyone, he needs help. He has a great support system including his wife, two beautiful children (Jimmy Jr., 10 and Jordan, 5), parents, siblings, in-laws, family, friends, and even wonderful co-workers who are all offering prayers and rooting for him to stay strong, and surely that goes a long way; but love can only go so far.
His wife Jennifer is currently out of work to be by his side; and there's no telling at this time how long it will take Jimmy to fully recover before being able to return to work.
Please help us raise funds to aid their family during this very difficult time and allow Jimmy and his family the opportunity to focus on his recovery without financial burden.
Thank you so much for your support and please keep Jimmy in your prayers.
