We are raising $5,000 to honor the legacy of Jim Dee, a beloved educator and former Principal of Field High School in Brimfield, Ohio. Jim dedicated his life to helping students succeed—especially those who struggled in traditional classrooms. As an industrial arts teacher and longtime leader of the Occupational Work Experience (O.W.E.) program, he believed in education as a tool for transformation, guiding students toward graduation, employment, and brighter futures.

Jim never let a student fall through the cracks. Whether helping kids into college or the trades, he worked tirelessly to ensure every young person had a chance. His commitment extended beyond the classroom—serving as athletic director, ticket manager, senior class advisor, and a high school principal. Education wasn’t just his career; it was his calling.

This scholarship fund will continue his mission by supporting students who need a helping hand, just as Jim always offered. Special consideration will be given to students pursuing careers in the trades after high school—reflecting Jim’s deep belief in the value of hands-on work and vocational paths.
