So, I’m closing this chapter for now…
First, let me say THANK YOU to those who support my brand! I love y'all real big! I’ll never take it lightly that people invest into this business that started with me and my daughter in my apartment living room. Plus, y'all be putting that stuff on lol
This side of Jess Fashion is ending for now for various reasons. As a believer, I’ve always yielded this business to God but haven’t always stewarded it well. I’ve learned some valuable lessons even in what some would consider a loss. ↔️ However, this past year God has sustained JF.
In August of 2023, Asa Lewis- a church musician and business owner scammed me out of $100K.
Yeah, let that sink in. I'm a single mother who helps take care of my disabled mother and a few others' well-being. My foundation of faith was shaken to my core! In the past year, I’ve cried, wanted to quit, and ultimately do something that would land me in jail. THANK GOD for praying friends, family, and a warring church! My people held me up during this entire time! I’ve had to make adjustments to my staff and trust God with payroll. I’ve had to pray and plan as I PIVOT! The Bible tells me that thieves like Asa Lewis can’t outrun reaping and one thing I know is that GOD FIGHTS FOR ME and HE WINS WARS.
On top of this, the boutique industry is experiencing changes, our economy is crazy, inflation is real BUT I HAVE KEPT MY PRAISE, sanity, and freedom!
I still believe Proverbs 16:3 and I can truly say every thought has STILL been established. ❤️
The case is ongoing and I currently have legal fees with a lot of moving parts of closing the store to tend to. If you feel led to help in my transition, you can donate here and I sincerely thank you in advance!
All current pick up orders please check your email by end of day. I’ll see y'all on the other side of this. ❤️
