Hi, I’m Julie — proud mum to 12-year-old Jess, a passionate and talented Baton Twirler.
Since the age of 6, Jess has been twirling her heart out with the brilliant Riverside Reflections team, coached by the amazing Laura Holland. Baton Twirling has helped her build not just skill, strength, and flair, but also focus, resilience, and a healthy mindset.
Jess has already won multiple national titles (BBTF & NBTA) in events like Solo, Duet, Dance Twirl, and Two Baton. And now, she’s been selected to represent England at the IBTF Nations Cup in Turin, Italy this August — her first international competition, at the youngest eligible age!
She’ll compete in the Youth B Two Baton category — an event packed with complex choreography, coordination, and energy. She’s so excited to test her skills on a global stage and make her country proud.
We’re raising funds to help cover the extra expenses that come with such an honour: training, hall hire, flights, accommodation, new kit, and having her coach by her side for support. We’ll make it work whatever happens — but every bit of help truly lightens the load.
Just £10 could help kit costs or contribute towards a new baton.
Even a few pounds can help fuel another hour of dedicated practice.
Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference — and helps Jess get one twirl closer to Turin.
If you’re a business or community group interested in sponsoring her, we’d love to hear from you!
In return, we’ll:
- Feature your logo on her training gear for the next year.
- Share regular updates and shout-outs on social media.
- Shout out your support for youth sport and community values!
Thank you so much for reading, cheering, and helping Jess take this incredible step. Your support means more than words can say!
Please like and share this, even if you are unable to donate...every little helps!
Thank you!
