Fortunately, the house is paid for. My medical care is covered for the most part, but we have other expences. Our furnace is 40+ years old, the addition isn't finished, and it needs gutters, plus the front deck needs work.  If Dottie can live here without worry we need help.  Her only income is from Social Security.
