Support 2019-2020 Artist Residencies Travel

Hello Friends, Colleagues, and Patrons of the Arts, My name is Jeremy Dennis , I have been selected to be a featured artist at three artist residencies this Fall of 2019, and two in 2020. At the request of the hosting organizations, the announcements must be kept secret for now, but I will be attending a retreat to the Elizabeth Islands off of Massachusetts this Fall for a week, followed by an artist residency for a month in Santa Fe, NM in March 2020, and Oregon State for the month of April 2020. It is a great honor to participate in these artist retreats to produce new work, network with other emerging artists and professionals, and represent Shinnecock as an artist in my travels. The work I will explore will be a continuation of on-going projects and themes of home, history, ancestry, colonialism, Native American oral stories, and identity. In order to accomplish this new work and travel, I am required to raise funds for my own flight and accommodation costs. The organizations hosting me for these three opportunities are not-for-profits that create spaces for artists to work and collaborate. Funding I am seeking the generosity of individuals to assist in the exact costs of attending these programs. $850.00 - Cost of attending artist residency "A" in the Elizabeth Islands, MA. $370.00 - Round trip to attend artist residency "B" in Oregon State. $370.00 - Round Trip to attend artist residency "C" in Santa Fe, NM Total - $1590.00 Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
