Jennifer's RALLY against cancer
Hi family and friends,
My name is Jennifer Galloway, I am. 41 years old and a single mom of two beautiful daughters! I'm employed with a great medical clinic in Salt Lake City, and do my best to brighten the day of anyone that I interact with. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with cancer in both of my breasts. On Nov. 11, 2016. After biopsies on both breasts, ultrasounds and diagnostic mamograms, the best decision for me was a bilateral mastectomy . The "what if's" consumed me for a while. And waiting for answers from the many different tests and screenings seemed to take so long to arrive. On December 15th I had both of my breasts removed. I have had multiple complications, some small and some not so small with my left breast. A s of today I have now had a total of 6 surgeries. The hardest part being that I have no short term disability insurance. I never could of made it this far without the patience, strength, and encouragement from friends, family and strangers I've been blessed to meet alon g the way. I've made it to today, and am grateful that we caught it when we did. I still have a long road ahead of me. And hopefully only need 2-3 more procedures to be complete!!! I am so beyond grateful to have my amazing daughter Schuyley beside me! I also am eternally grateful to the Allen family, They have been by my side from day one!
I pledge to donate any funds not needed by me for this battle to breast cancer research/patient support in January of 2019
I'm raising money to cover my current, and future medical expenses in relation to the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer I recently received.
I pledge to donate any funds not needed by me for this battle to breast cancer research/patient support in January of 2019.As I mentioned, The campaign total is estimated with uncertainty, yet I am confident that with the early diagnoses that we will get through this journey with help, love and support from anyone willing and able. So far this recovery has been rough. I have missed more work than expected due to unforseen complications.
I am and will be so forever grateful for each and every one of you. Wether you're my flesh and blood, one of my friends, a patient at work, or someone I have yet to meet, I Thank You, and will Thank You again.
With my love,
Jennifer
