Jenn needs you.
After Jenn's diagnosis with Lupus, she didn't go lay down and give up. Instead, she became a powerful force providing hope and comfort to other Lupus suffers on her site and facebook page, Lupus and me. This group is a powerful force we often call "Jenn's Lupie Nation". No matter how sick Jenn was, she devoted her time to making sure that those suffering with Lupus knew that they were not alone in their struggle. She provided education and hope to many thousands of suffers.
The tables have turned and Jenn is no longer able to help but is instead, in need of help. She is now laid up in a hospital hundreds of miles from home. She is currently in ICU and the prognosis is not clear. She is a long way from "out of the woods", and her family has all been called there to be with her should the Lord call her home. The doctors say that If she does pull through, it is likely that her hospital stay will last weeks and possibly months.
Jenn and her wife, Emily, have lived on a very fixed income since Jenn's diagnosis. Jenn's herself has been unable to work for years now. Being so far from home forces her family to incur travel expenses, hotels, meals out, etc., While all of these costs are being incured, Emily's employment income has stopped.
Please, consider helping these two however you can. Our hope is to make it possible for Emily to stay with Jenn until she leaves the hospital. Jenn shouldn't be alone right now.
