Jen and Ryan need our help! Jen and Ryan are two of the sweetest, most thoughtful, and compassionate people I have ever met.  I have known them both for almost 20yrs and I think the world of them. A few years ago they decided to follow their dreams and move to Hawai’i, about 8 months ago Jen fell very ill with Chronic Pancreatitis. This condition has also caused  diabetes and EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) as result of the pancreatitis. This has taken a toll on her body, she has lost 40+ lbs and is in intractable pain. She is an amazing surgical tech but due to this disease, she has been forced to stop working which has been devastating for her on so many levels. She loves her job, and she loves taking care of people but she  hasn’t been well enough to work for the past 6 months. She has spent most of this time in and out of the hospital with this terrible disease. The medical care she needs now unfortunately isn’t available to her in Hawai’i.  With all the Drs. appointments and work, and everything else that every day life throws at you, it’s getting hard for Ryan to do it on his own. The stress of this has also caused him to have a few health issues as well. They are just trying to move forward and move back home.  They need to be closer to family and friends for support, and for more specialized doctors, and bigger hospitals where she can get proper medical treatment. They truely are the most gracious and genuine  people and would never ask for donations unless they really needed it.  Please help however you can. It’s pretty costly to move from Hawai’i  and the medical bills are piling up. Thank you so very much.
