Jeffrey meant so many things to so many people.  He was a mentor, a brother, a cheerleader, community creator, and most of all, he was family.  To those who had even just met him, it was immediately apparent how his wisdom, sass, compassion, and inclusivity were elements that everyone should strive for.  His status as a universally adored fixture of our diverse and widespread dance music community could not have been more apparent in his passing, just as much as it was in his lifetime.

Unknown to some, Jeffrey had a long battle with cancer, and true to his marine background, he fought with strength, courage, and optimism till the very end. 

It appears that currently we have raised enough money for preparations for Jeffrey's final resting place. With this fundraiser, we would like to raise money for a Celebration of Jeffrey's life and what he meant to all of us.  We know that times are tough right now financially, and it's even harder when we aren't able to mourn together, which is why we're wanting to make sure this can happen once social functions return.

Money from this fundraiser will go towards a Celebration of Life at a venue somewhere in SF at a later date TBD. It's ok if you don't feel comfortable giving right now, we will be accepting donations at the event as well.  Funds collected will be used to secure a location, catering, printing and framing photos, and other costs associated with throwing Jeffrey the mega-party he wanted to celebrate and honor his life, surrounded by music, friends, and community. 

Any additional funds that are raised through this fundraiser and donations made at the event will be donated towards a cause or causes that were meaningful to Jeffrey.
